EDLD 5363 week 2 assignment/podcast

Windows Movie Make Video Software Script for Podcast
First if you do not already have Movie Maker installed on your machine please do so. Type in a Google search of WMM and it will take you to a site where you may download the software for free.
Once installed - open the program. You will see a toolbar at the top of the page, blank video to the left, and your project “workbox” to the right. From the top icon choose new project. If you have any videos or photos you would like to include in the project select the add photos and videos icon.  You then are brought to a place where you can search your computers for saved images and videos for your project. Simply open whatever pictures or videos you wish to add to your movie. For multiple images repeat the process of selecting the add photos and videos icon. There is also a webcam video button which you may select should your machine have a webcam and you wish to record using your webcam.
Each photo or video you add can be customized any way you like. You can make the picture black & white, add different colors, rotate the image, add text to the image, change the effects of the image (how it makes the transition from one photo to another) , and so much more.  You can add captions to the photos as well as add a movie title, credits, director, and everything else that makes this program feel like you are using expensive editing software.
When you are finished adding your pictures and videos you have the option to add music or narration.  You may search your ITunes account for music to add to your project or you may select from Windows factory music choices. They also included a free music website you may add music from, it only has select music so you may not find exactly what you want there, but it’s free. If you have a microphone connected to your computer you can push the record narration button and record your own personal narration that complements your video or photos. Use or download an application from the app store such as voice recorder. This feature will allow you to trim the audio to correct any errors. If you do not have a microphone but you do possess a Smartphone you can record sound from your phone and email it to yourself. From there you may save the audio to your computer and upload under the add record narration button, choose the add audio feature and you then can select your audio piece and add it your project.
Once you have completed your movie you need to save it. Press the save movie button and you are given the choice of what to title your piece as where to save it on your computer. You also have the option to email the video to anyone as well as add the video to websites such as YouTube, Facebook, and Flickr.  Your newly created video can even be published to the world wide web by selecting the publish movie icon and selecting where you want it to be seen.
